Bud is right, I jumped to answer.
But lately I have been tweaking SUs as I just finished the 67 and
replaced the weber on the 59 with SUs and even yesterday had some fuel
problems on the 58.
But yes, do check the float and if the piston is sticking anywhere on
full up or down, and it never hurts to back blow the jet into the float
as dirt can get stuck in the jet tube.
Also a stuck choke, push up on the jet and see if it moves.
