March 2008
Fill up the tow rigs, throw in the spares and kiss the wife good-bye.
(Better yet, bring her along).
It9s time for vintage racing west coast style in 2008. MGVR has just
confirmed with The Historic Motor Sports Association (HMSA) that the weekend
of March 15-16th, 2008 at Laguna Seca and will feature vintage racing MG9s.
This year9s focus event will feature the legend of Ken Miles and his
historic career. Be a part of the largest gathering of MG vintage race cars
in history and the rare opportunity to race at the legendary Laguna Seca.
CART (Champ Cars) will be in their spring training the week prior to the
event so show up early to see how the pros drive the track. Other activities
in the works include a dinner at the Laguna Seca Red Bull center with
special guest speakers.
After the race weekend, the Monterey Peninsula, San Francisco, and Wine
Country offer nearly everything you can imagine for a wonderful getaway.
Everything from site seeing, hiking, wine tasting to world class food. Still
not convinced? Take a look at Laguna Seca - www.laguna-seca.com
