And that is just a fraction of what they used to get annually. Which is why
most Alaskans favor drilling in ANWR. And by most I don't mean 51%. If you
don't believe that, go to Alaska and conduct your own pole. It is hard to find
someone who receives an annual check who isn't in favor of more drilling.

Alaska doesn't have an income tax.
That's true. They also pay every man, woman and child about $1100 a year from
excess oil income. The figure varies a little every year but everybody gets a
cut.
