Painting a car in an attached garage

OK, how do you people in the list paint a car in an attached garage without
stinking out the rest of the family and sleeping on the couch?  I mean I can
shoot the primer out side but a 2K Urethane has a really bad stink.

And if you do spray in the garage and stink up the house how long until the
house smell normal again?
