Classic Motorsport just wrote about putting tires on their square wheel arch
Midget project, but unfortunately, they are on steel wheels. From where I sit,
I can't remember what they used, but I believe they used Kumho all seasons ( a
175? ) on a minilight type wheel. They considered going to a 14" inch wheel
and had the luxury of having different configurations to try. They had to use
spacers ( 1/4" ) to get the tires away from the springs.

None of this does you or I much good, as we have wires. :(
Maybe the real solution is to come to a ( or several ) consensus and pester a
tire manufacturer to do a run of a certain size / make of tire? < insert
