You got it backwards Mark. If all "B" drivers switched to type "A" cars the demand for gas would go down hence the price would go up. So "B" types are actually subsidizing driver "A" types. There are those like me who need a tow vehicle. I have a 21' boat/trailer, a camping trailer, and a car trailer. I guess I'm susposed to sell them to please others and driver an ecobox? NFW. The greens types can go....... in their hats. By the way the only time I use my SUV is when I'm towing one of the above or using my 4 wheel drive to take nurses & doctors to the hospital when it snows.
