Hi, Bill..... "performance" machines normally don't run a vac. advance at all considering same is used to advance spark in the interests of fuel economy under light cruise conditions. Emissions models are a different story and are not considered in this post. As long as the "ends" are the correct "calibrated orifices", volume (once the line is "filled" or "emptied" as the case may be:) doesn't matter, either in terms of length or diameter.
