I can buy a NOS Weber DCOE 42 (that's not a typo) for $250. It has 30 mm chokes. I think the internals are the same as a 40 DCOE. Would the carb work well on a race 948? Wild guess? I am sure it would have to be rejetted. Just wondering, as I would not mind experimenting. I will need a manifold if I buy the carb! JLC |
