I personally put my rear jack stands under the heavy steel boxes the front
end of the leaf springs go into, trying to stay off the spring itself. It's
farther forward than the axle, but very solid and takes the weight off the
suspension, allowing, in addition to less wear and tear on the springs, better
access to a lot of stuff since the axle is dropped so far down.
and PS I thought your god story was plenty good, just trying to keep the list
diplomatic and smooth. No offense meant.
