| Subject: | thrust washer? |

Hi folks. I have a question about this 68 Sprite steering/suspension I'm working on. The shop manual shows a thrust washer between the shock trunnion and the swivel axle, but on disassembly there was none. No shims either. After a test fit of the cleaned parts I have over 1/16 inch vertical movement of the axle on the king pin. So, how much movement should I have and where can I get a thrust washer and shims? I suppose I could make one if I knew the correct thickness. Thanks, John |
