Mike,
Glad to hear that you are enjoying the Bugeye!
I am curious too what fits. The only problem
that I have ever seen with aftermarket seats
is rear access. The stock seats almost fold
flat so you can get into the trunk, but after-
market seats don't. How do you get the spare
out of the car?
If I remember correctly, the previous owner said that
he put extra padding in the seat bottom
(he was a little short) so he could see out
a little better. You may want to try to remove
some of the padding to sit you down more in
the seat and hold you better.

Subject: 5-Point for Bugeye
I am getting more confidence with (an in) my Bugeye. Wow, when you turn
the wheel, the car TURNS. Immediately. At least at "Bugeye" speeds.
:)
How can I keep myself planted ... I would like to put in a 5-point
harness. Does anyone have any suggestions for the best harness that
will install in my (no roll bar) stock Bugeye with the least hassles?
I am even considering different seats. Are there any racing type seats
that will fit and look good? Seats from Sparco, etc are all too tall. I
have seen "vintage" racing seats from time to time but most look very
similar to the seats I have now.
