Is your head and/or block planed so far that you have to shave the pistons
to get the CR "down" to 11.5:1, or are these pistons not designed for the
A-series block?
I find that usually when someone has a problem with something from a
manufacturer with a reputation for quality - whether it's pistons, maple
syrup or moulding machines - it's either because the person didn't use them
for the intended purpose, or there was the rare defect in that one item.
