That's too bad about Mexico; I've heard bad stories about places
outside of the Yucatan. I had a rough time with customs in the BVI,
but I found the rest of the VI to be gorgeous and EVERYONE is
friendly, even the customs guys when they are ripping you a new one
smile when they do it :). I think I liked the BVI more than the AVI
- still a little colonial, whereas the AVI had typical American-style
slums.
Of course, we did all this on the cheap, so YMMV.
LBC: There are more LBC in the BVI than the AVI. Or were, anyway.
