Those rubber things are not seals, but rather mounts. Moss calls
them adapters. They actually position the angle of the float bowl relative
to the manifold. Different applications of HS carbs would have different
"adapters" depending on the angle of the manifold since the float bowl lid
must always be parallel to the ground. Different adapters have that
positioning tab in different clock positions. All HS carbs have them.
Anyway, you only need 1 per carb, if at all, as they do not seal
anything and are remarkably re-useable.
