Not sure how effective it is, but it can't hurt, but how about running a copy
of the value of the vehicle off the internet sites that figure values of used
cars? At least you would have an objective report in hand. I did that when
my son totaled my Ford Ranger, but didn't have to use it--turned out the
adjuster offered me more money than the print-out stated. 8^)
