If you do it, I would recommend the HIF44 that is the much improved 1 3/4" 
with built in bowl, centered jet, and ball berring dashpot.

Depending on the cam, etc., it could be a good single unit.  I'm running two 
of these on my 1380 with 286 cam, head, 1.5 rollers, etc.  It's the best dual 
setup I've ever run, but it is still dual.
