Even for a completely standard car it is possible for a good dyno operator to pick up problems like worn distributor bearings and any one of a number of ignition or fueling problems. I once saw a guy with a vintage/veteran (eg 1930s?) Rolls Royce who always had it tuned on the chassis dyno and it was absolutely stock.
