The booster does not increase the efficiency of the brakes, it just lesssens 
the 
ammount of 'pedal effort' on the drivers part.
I'm not sure exactly what eveyone is looking for here, it seems like some what 
'less pedal effort/better feel', and then there is making the car stop quicker, 
these are two mutually exclusive things.
