My brakes work fine, as good as I have ever had on a Bugeye, but, I would
prefer something that would haul it down a little quicker.

I looked at the "B/Spit" conversion when I was building this car. The main
problem I had with it was the caliper did not center on the rotor (I've
already talked to Drew about this). It was way too far inboard and would
have required grinding down the mounting tabs on the stub axle or on the
calipers, or both. I've been told that the normal problem was the caliper
sitting too far outboard which can be corrected with spacers. Also it would
have required bending the steering arms. Grinding would not have been an
option as the overlap with the rotor was significant. I've been told that
the Frontline kit now includes a spacer to go between the steering arm and
the stub axle that solves this problem.

Does anyone know which caliper and rotor Frontline uses in their kit?

I have the Frontline tube shock conversion and the re-routed brake lines did
not interfere with the "B" calipers.

I may try this again sometime during the rainy season when I'm bored.
