Re: bad generator bearing

I always though there was a retaining plate which was riveted in place. The 
reason I have not done mine is I was still in the dark  as to the riveting 
procedure.  I was thinking small #8 machine screws if riveting was a problem. 
Getting bearing was no problem,,Mini Mania had it. While I  was at it , I got 
the bushing and brush set also.--------------Bob C
