Congrats on the 2nd. Al. Was good to put another face to an anonymous
email address.
Was a great show in a scenic park. Lots of cars of different marques. Two
of my Philly clubmates got 2nds in the MGB categories. (early CB and late
70's RB). There were 5 Midgets and I agree the winner was beautiful. I
was one vote shy of third and I bet Al didn't vote for me ;-) (Actullay
I have no idea how far off I was but it didn't matter I was outclassed,
but the ONLY daily driver!!!)

the profound statement:
>So my nameless '66 Sprite and I attended yesterday's Keystone British
>Motorcar Gathering. I had a great time, met Dr. Larry, saw Jason, and met a
>bunch of other great folks (and potential future listers). Despite the 95
>degree heat, this was a great event. The setting is very nice with decent
>amounts of shade. I think the final car count was just shy of 150 with a
>constant flow of spectators all day. The Midgets and Sprites (or is that
>Sprites and Midgets) were parked and judged separately (don't ask me why).
>There were 4 Sprites in attendance and I was parked between 2 Bugeyes. A
>gorgeous white, 1275, 5 speed owned by John Fisher and a flared and fairly
>modded yellow one. The other Sprite was a nice early square body. The
>white Bugeye took 1st place and thanks to Larry's vote combined with my own,
>it was enough to get me a 2nd place plaque:) which has me very happy and
>proud. The Midget count was 5, maybe 6, the day is still a blur for me, and
>1st place went to a very pretty red '69 with chrome wires and knock-offs.
>If you're from the eastern PA area and haven't made it to this show yet, you
>should put it on your calendar for future Junes, it's worth it. There were
>even a few parts vendors in attendance and I picked up a set of MGB 1 3/4
>SUs w/ manifold for $20. Well I'm starting to ramble but I wanted to give
>some show commentary with hopes of meeting other listers at next years
>event.
