After saying "someday" for close to twelve years, and finally having the
time, money and a garage, the Bugeye roared to life last night! Roar
might seem a bit much, but with no tail pipe it was kinda loud.
Fired on the first try and ran it only about 20 seconds because of no
radaitor. But it was long enough to spot the first minor oil leak...
For the record, it is a 1275 with a mild cam, Mallory dual point and
Promaster coil, SU's fed by a Holley fuel pump, and negative ground with
the mini Mania alternator conversion kit..
Now for the brake and clutch hydraulics.
