I have so many different combinations of Sprites, I may not even 
know which car I ws referring to when I quoted my answer. BTW the 
clutch problem was solved by putting new connectors on the lines just 
as some else suggested, regardless of model. I was working that day 
on the 67, 1275, not the 60 1275 w/ 5 Speed and disk brakes nor the 
V-6 with automatic. 

I think your point was what car was having the problem, not we have 
and are referring to in our answers.
