Hi, Spridgeteers!
Today I was searching for a non-LBC part in a local salvage yard when I
spied a square-body Sprite with a hardtop. There were no visible
identification tags left on the car, except for the body number tag on the
left door hinge panel, so I don't know what year the car is. It has no
floors, some dash gauges are missing, the engine and tranny are in it. The
car is beyond restoration, I think, but has a lot of potentially usable
parts. The dash is the metal one between the "banana" dash of the early
cars and the vinyl one of the later Spridgets.

The hardtop has some surface cracks in two places, but they don't appear to
be serious. The rear glass and corner glasses are in good shape but the
seals could stand to be replaced (are these available?). The interior of
the top looked good, but the windshield latches need to be rechromed.
Anybody interested in this? What is the hardtop worth, approximately, not
counting eBay?
