Hi y'all, I've got a question about interchanging wire wheels for steel wheels on a '63 Spridget. I know that the rearend is narrower on wire wheel models, but is there any difference in the front end, other than the hub assembly? Can I just slip a wire wheel hub assembly on the stub axle in place of the drum wheel assembly without running into problems with the width of the front end, or are the stub axles different lengths on wire vs. steel wheel frontends? TIA, Bob |
