Hi List, On the rear brakes the slave cylinder is held in position by a stupid clip called an E clip. When I ran standard rear brakes I replaced the E clip with a circlip which I found was much easier to fit. However, I seem to recall that there is some argument against using a circlip instead of an E clip - something to do with allowing a degree of 'float' or 'freeplay' of the slave. Anyone know anymore about this? Daniel |
