We are looking at tow bars for towing the car as well as ways to tow a
trailer with the Mk III. We have an inexpensive light weight trailer design,
no drawings, just a mental picture and the parts already done. We had
originally planned the trailer for the bugeye but some care needs to be
exercised in how the ball mount is attached to that car. The trip we had
planned that would have used the trailer did not happen so the trailer went
to a back burner. Now with the Mk III it is moving forward. We have an
excellent shop with many years experiance in custom trailer hitches. One of
the early items on the MK III as soon as it gets out of the trailer is to
take it by the this shop to discuss the best way to do attachments for both
kinds of towing. If anyone else is interested drop us a note and we will
keep you posted.
