As the time approaches to lay the 69 Midget up for the winter I recall the spring problem most years of having to free the stuck clutch disk from the flywheel. This spring it was especially stubborn. I started it in gear and drove about half a mile accelerating and braking alternately until it let let loose. Does anyone know of a way to prevent this annoyance from occurring? Spridgets seem to be more prone to this than other makes for some reason. Fred Pixley Napanee, Ontario, Canada fpixley@kingston.net |
