Don't know about some all British threads... but the Bugeye parts manual and bolt conversion sheet show almost all bolts and machine screws as being UNF thread. I made a list of all bolts needed during my restoration, went to the local nut and bolt house, and gave them the list. Everything fit like it should. Don't think Whitworth was a problem here.
