Digging through my junk bins I found a Spridget starter, Lucas, with a date stamp of 10/68. I'm trying to figure out how to get the Pinion off the shaft. All my books, and the starter on the Bugeye, have a slotted washer with a cotter pin holding everything on the shaft. This one has a smooth washer on no cotter pin. I can't see what's holding it on. It kind of looks like an inside circlipmbut I don't see anyway of getting it off. Any ideas? Larry Miller |
