wiring harness

I am having fun conversing with myself here (must be Valentines day!).

I stand corrected, British Wiring is not in Ithaca, NY. Not important
though. 

Is it true that they get their harnesses directly from Autosparks in the
U.K.? Or do they make them themselves? If not, why don't I simply buy
direct?
