Guy,
I would advise to ask rivergate@compuserve.com. As you know, they supply
the kits they sell and those that mini-mania supplies with a mark-up, i.e.,
they know the answers, and their literature delineates the tranny numbers
and model years which work. Yes, you won't need to cut the car body. You
do need to cut the tranny, but it's aluminum and pretty easy.
Now, I THINK you are looking for a Nissan Sunny, vintage 1980 or so, and
some of them (as Datsun 210's here, not B-210's) came with 4 speeds and
some with 5 speeds. You want to buy the 5-speed tranny, the clutch
throw-out bearing, the stick, and the speedo cable.
Good luck,
Daryl
