Hmm, in that case does anybody have a set of 2.5 inch pushrods for a 3/4
bore MC they can spare? If they're ovalled out, I'll fill them with weld
and re-drill them. I was about to switch MC's and was going with the
consensus that they were the same.
One of these days I'm really going to get this disc brake conversion in, I
really am.

Subject: MC Push Rods
This has come up before and I seem to remember that the consensus was that
the rods for the 3/4 and the 7/8 MC were the same length. I was sorting out
a box of brake parts containing four Sprite master cylinders and all of
their bits and pieces, three 7/8's and one 3/4 cylinder. Four sets of push
rods, three sets 3'' long and one set 2 1/2' inch long. This would seem to
indicate that the 3/4 cylinder has shorter rods.
Anyone have either type laying around where you could measure the rods. I
measured just the smooth portion of the rod, not the wrench fitting and the
threads.
Comments appreciated.
