In the few minutes of spare time that I have now and then
I am trying to remove the exhaust manifold from my 77 Midget.
The problem is the 2 nuts in the center, below the intake and 
above the exhaust.  What sadist designed this setup?  Anyway
I have tried sockets, universal attachments, stubby open end
wrenches, and I have yet to be able to get a good grip (or any
grip) on these two nut.  My next step is I am going to get a 
cheap 3/8" extension and grind the end down to be a bit narrower.
I hope this will allow me to turn the socket while I have the
extension/ratch on an angle.  If anyone has a better idea I am
all ears.  Otherwise I will just keep trying. After a while I 
will have success. I hope.  Thanks for listening to the rant, or
so it seems.
