Mike: Back in 1974 I was driving to Florida carrying a load of potatoes from Maine in a tractor trailer, I was planning to refuel in Ft. Lee NJ. I ran out of fuel on the George Washington Bridge, center lane around 6PM on a Friday night. Talk about abuse, I had profanity yelled at me, beer bottles and cans thrown at my truck. Thank God for the Bridge Police that saved me. -- Fred Krampits 1963 MG Midget MK I 1098CG http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/9021/ |
