Moss does have a rebuild kit for this, basically it's just the O rings. My
catalog shows the new brass piece as being $483 -- that's absurd when you
consider what's involved with manufacturing that part.
What I'd like to know is if anyone has fashioned some sort of metal screw /
plug to replace the plastic switch. My switch has never worked and I don't
see any reason to replace it -- I'm not a big fan of idiot lights, call me
a DPO if you will, but since I don't ever plan on selling the car I figure
I can make this modification without karmic retribution.
Also, I have a spare one of these that I pulled off of my parts car, but
instead of O rings it has rubber sleeves which seem to not be rebuildable,
has anyone seen a rebuild kit for this style?
