Jim -
Three words: Please don't go. You happened to walk into a "hornet's
nest issue". We seem to have one of those about twice a year, where you
just chill out (and delete messages from some folks) until it blows
over. (Usually only a day or so.) We >really< are nice folks, sorry for
the offense.
As for Moss & VB, we can either keep moaning among ourselves, or we can
get the word out and vote with our pocketbooks. I'd say the best thing
we can do is to get the positive word out abut British suppliers, and
those American suppliers who can be trusted to do right by us (even if
>>their<< suppliers don't).
I think it's fair to say that Jim is one of the latter. I don't know of
anybody who does this stuff for a living that doesn't deal with Moss at
least sometimes.
So, who CAN we reliably get good parts from? Speak up if you know
somebody you trust!
