I just happened to have a 1098 head hanging around. it has the 12G206
markings. This is the less desirable 1098 head so I am told. It has a hole
just ahead of the number one sparkplug. It is plugged. The plug has a slot,
llike for a big (very big) screw driver. I can't get the plug out right now.
So I can't tell you the size. Check the numbers on the top. 1098 were 12G206
and 12G291. I doubt you have a 1275 head on a 948. The block would have to
be highly modified for the valves to not hit the block deck.
