The adapter acts as a spacer to the rotor only it bolts to the BACK of the
hub.  The Spit rotor is pretty shallow and the Sprite is deep so the
adapter just positions the Spit rotor about where the Sprite rotor was.
Absolutely no track increase.

The Sprite rotors are pretty thin so the conversion makes sense for any
heavy duty work.  I don't personally believe that you can over brake a car.
 You can always go to softer pads etc., but having fought with cars that
had marginal brakes in the past the conversion is going onto my car even it
is basically a street car.  I am still trying to scope out a rear disk
setup for the car.

BTW the adapters are actually quite simple it wouldn't take someone with a
lathe long to whip up a set.

While we are talking about conversions and such, anybody have any ideas for
front coilover conversions?
