Winner's Circle told me that "there is some grinding of the trunnion and
caliper involved" and specifically said it's not just a bolt-on.
My squarebody brake lines are the same as a bugeye, they do not go through the
inner wheelarch.

I don't see anyway that the Winner's Circle adapter could place the rotor
anywhere other than where the original rotor was, I.E. at the back of the
hub. The calipers mount in the same place as the Spridget calipers so with
the larger diameter rotor it has to interfere. One posibility is that
Winner's Circle includes a spacer to relocate the steering arm. If you look
at a stock Spridget with disk brakes with the swivel axle at full lock, you
will see that the rotor is inside a vertical line down from the shock arm.
The bigger rotor will hit the shock arm on the front outside corner at
something less than full lock.
Thanks for the description of the brake line routing. Does the manual have
any pictures that show this? I think it might work routed through the wall
right next to the upper arm on the Bugeye. A measurement from some common
reference would be nice.
