Evangelos,
It should connect under the car, right where the engine and transmission
meet.  If I remember correctly, there is a little plate that connects to
two engine/tranny bolts.  To this plate is bolted the strap and also the
exhaust pipe steadying (!) strap.
I can't remember offhand where the strap connects to the body.
