The axle shafts are shorter on wire wheels but they do fit and work fine under
normal street driving conditions.I have converted 2 to wires from disc by just
swapping out the axles, hubs and rotors.
Never had a problem.
I never raced the wire wheel cars either.
The shafts are about 3/8" shorter but there is still well over an inch inside
the
diff.
Don't worry about it.
