Carfully repeat CARFULLY and evenly pull out the face plate while gently wobbling it from side to side, this will pop off the needle. Do not use pliers or such to pull the needle, it will bend. Do not use too much force on the face plate it to will bend. Be patient, wiggle it just a little bit and gentle pull. It will come off.
