Master Cylinders

Can someone out there tell me what was the first year of the dual line brake 
cylinder.  I think the newest Spridget that I have ever owned was a 62 or 63 
so don't have any manuals on the later cars. After they started with the dual 
line cylinders did they ever change? Are all of the dual line cars the same as 
far as the pedal box?  Thanks for any help that you can provide.
