Not to put too fine a point on it (which I'll do anyway), but you mean
halfshaft or axle. If the wheel was perpendicular to the driveshaft the car
could only go around in circles, and rather dynamically-unstable circles they
would be too! Also (not putting too fine a point on it), it pertains only to
swing axles, not to the Rotoflex suspension GT6+ and early GT6 Mk3.
