Re-building hydraulic cylinders is neither particularly hard nor
expensive (the biggest faff is getting them off the car to start with!).
If you're going into the clutch hydraulics, might as well do them both
while you are at it. Also gives you the opportunity to switch to DOT5
silicon fluid, if you are so inclined.
In any case I can't think of an easy way to tell which cylinder is
faulty, other than rebuilding one, and if your problem hasn't gone away,
it must be the other!
There also remains the possibility that it is not the hydraulics at all,
but the pivot pin for the throw-out bearing has fallen out (ULC2713 in
this piccy http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/spitfire/images/63a.gif) - this
can happen, it's just a press fit, although some owners have replaced it
with a bolt & nut to stop this happening.
