Takes 3 thing to make a fire.. Oxygen... Fuel and ignition.  (Spark).. If 
you have tried - ether  (starter fluid in the spray can) and not a cough 
then you got no spark.. Clean out the dizzy cap, check the coil input with 
a volt meter.  check and clean the points, check for high voltage at the 
plug wire. by placing a piece of paper in the gap of one of the plugs.. see 
if it burns a hole in the paper. when you crank.
