Larry, I can't help much otherwise, but I looked at the Burlen web site. You're
right in that they show the early Spitfire as "950cc" (which they must have
picked up inadvertently from the early Herald listing). However, a quick glance
at the spec's and part numbers shown for the early Spitfire leads me to believe
those spec's and part numbers are correct for the HS2 carbs used on earlier
Spitfires.
