Well in essence, J.K. had it right. My oil press problem
turned out to be a crap ass spin on filter!
It's not a stock can and element GT6 filter, but a spin-on.

It took me a bit today. searching for a cross-reference
last night (on the net) and in a store today, to find a cross-
reference to a few of the more decent filters avail today.
I was finally able to cross-reference numbers to a
Mobil 1 filter that is now installed. I cranked her over,
and the pressure was right back to normal. 60+ at a cold
idle, 90 at 2krpm, where the relief valve opens up,
and 60 warm, 25 warm idle.

Late last night I spent re-reading (for perhaps the 3rd/4th
time) the oil filter study the guy did, and I'll now fully
agree...regardless of variation of what they call it
ALL FRAM FILTERS ARE CRAP!
The 'Fram Extra Guard' that was on there, had less than
500 miles on it and it crapped out. Apparently the valve
inside is a metal to metal seat, and simply did not re-seat.
The spring is distorted and was letting oil bypass the filter
element and simply dumping the oil past the element and right
back into the sump. So this was basically acting like a
major leak in the system.

So...my pump is fine, the engine is fine, and no FRAM product
will ever be purchased by me ever again.
