This list hasn't heard from me for while so I'll forgive some of you
for not remembering me...
Anyway you also won't be hearing from me for the foreseeable future as
I have sold my spitfire 'Saskia'. It came to a point where I just did
not have the time nor the money to keep her or even run her regularly,
especially since I no longer have a garage.
She's getting picked up tomorrow, so that will be me down to just the
one car (1994 BMW 525 TDS) and spitfireless for the first time in 4
years. I know it's the right decision to sell her and pass her on to
the next loving owner who will cherish her, although I still have
pangs of regret at letting go such a beautiful car who has given me so
much pleasure and pain in equal measures.
I will own a spitfire again, of that I am certain, although it will
not be until I am older, more settled down and have a garage.
I would like to extend a big thanks to all those on this list who have
helped me out and provided such a supportive community over the years,
thank you all, I couldn't have done it without you.
So long, farewell....
